Seems like the only outstanding issue with my setup at this point is that starting the laptop whilst plugged into the docking station makes standby not work. I suspect the USB-C ethernet device, but haven't had time to check yet.

All things considered, though, my experience has been even better than with Slackware, which is impressive!

Turns out merely plugging the laptop into the Thunderbolt 3 docking station is enough to ruin suspend until I reboot the machine.

dmesg shows a lot of devices as "not configured" via acpi. I think those are all coming from the docking station. Not sure what to do about that...
